Can I Snowboard with a cast??/?

i broke my wrist 4 weeks ago and they put the cast up past my elbow for the first four Weeks now i have one on only my forearm and i was wondering if i could snowboard with that on because the only reason i was told i couldn't go with the full arm one was because my upper arm would break if i fell on it.
