Is satan the opposite of God?

To be the opposite of something implies equality, just in the other direction. God does not have an opposite. As He is Reality, the only possible alternative is illusion. And that seems to fit pretty well. God IS, and the Spirit and the Children are His creations, made of the same nature. Satan is another word for Ego, which is an artificial construct, not a creation. Satan as I understand it is what we call that little voice calling us to engage in the world, and Spirit calls us constantly to come Home. God made one, and we made the other to keep us focused on illusion. It is only here we can experience what we decided to experience (the world) rather than what God created.
