Anyone have a recipe for lemon er chicken? Had it at a Malay restaurant in Johnsonville, NZ, years ago?

There used to be a Malaysian cafe/restaurant in Johnsonville Road (Johnsonville, Wellington, New Zealand), I think it was called Giva (or something similar) where they served a lemon er chicken curry. It was sweet like it had honey in it and the curry sauce was quite liquid. It was really yummy and I have not seen it anywhere else, nor have I been able to find a recipe online. Can anyone help me to get a recipe?
