Spiritually speaking, do you understand why religious people do this?

Because people don't know everything sometimes the only answer to a question is God you just have to have faith. You and other people are insecure and feel like they have to have a answer to ever thing and attempt to sound smart. I suggest you have faith because God is the only answer.
