I want to make this tiramisu bowl from kraft foods. I need help with what the recipe means.?

As Aprilric says,about the coffee, you probably need to use the total amount of Cool Whip called for in two parts. So thaw it, divide it into two (or however many) parts (just put half in a bowl, and keep the other half in the Cool Whip bowl) and add one part whenever called for.
